This is a revised version of The Garbage People. It's a very readable account with loads of interviews and research behind it. The story is told with lots of direct quotes from key characters, which makes the reader feel like they're there. Originally published in 1971, The Garbage People was one of the first good books written about these horrible events. A definite must read!
