Debra Tate Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Wednesday, May 10th, 2017

May 10 – Debra Tate, the outspoken adversary of the Manson family, has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

After losing her mother Doris to brain cancer in 1992 and her sister Patti to breast cancer in 2000 – both victims’ rights advocates – Debra dedicated her life to continuing her family’s legacy. Over the past two decades, Debra has become a staple at Manson family parole hearings, relentlessly opposing their release.

Last year, Tate launched online petitions on her website noparoleformansonfamily.com, collecting nearly half a million signatures opposing parole for Manson family members.

A gofundme page to help with Tate’s medical bills has set up by her friend, Jillian Barberie.

I know a lot of people on various Manson family blogs & websites hate DT with a passion. I realize she has said weird things before, but nobody can begin to understand what this poor woman has gone thru. She is the lone survivor of her family now, and that has to suck. Furthermore, she had some Hollywood producer/director/author whatever who implanted herself in DT’s family, pretty much took over, and wrote that ridiculous, fictitious book. Whatever DT did/didn’t do involving her private family isn’t anybody’s business either. I am very sad to read about DT’s recent diagnosis too. Stress will do just that. I know from personal experience, unfortunately. I hope the disease can be caught in time. She has a long & difficult struggle ahead of her. I wish her nothing, but the best of luck.

Debra, I too, had a terrible diagnosis six years ago. It was a long struggle, but I made it through. And you will, too!!! I will pray for you every day. You have always done for Sharon and your other family members that which you were called on to do. You are a trooper and you will overcome. God Bless You, my fellow sister, you will be in my thoughts ALWAYS!!!!
