Fortune Left By Heiress
Saturday, August 23rd, 1969
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 23 – Abigail Folger, the 26-year-old coffee heiress found slain in the unsolved Los Angeles mass murder two weeks ago at actress Sharon Tate’s house, left an estate of over $500,000.
Her father, Peter Folger of Woodside, filed a petition for the probate of her estate Friday in San Francisco.
The petition said Miss Folger owned cash and securities at the time of her death valued at $400,000. In addition, Miss Folger had real estate holdings estimated at another $130,000. The petition said a search failed to uncover any will.
Rosemary La Bianca left an estate five times larger than this.
