SAN FRANCISCO, Jul. 3 – A caller who said she was Sandra Good of the notorious Charles Manson family told UPI Wednesday night, Charles Manson had sent a message from San Quentin Prison to his family for communication to the world.

She said she had been corresponding with Manson “and receiving his thoughts” and insisted the message go out verbatim. It read:

“Manson is mad at Nixon. The Manson family has been locked up for five years in Nixon’s conspiracy, Nixon lied, dealt blood for a few dollars, ruined the economy and sold the United States out. He wasn’t a good enough crook nor had he the concern to take care of his own U.S. people. Nixon declared the Manson family guilty before their trial was over, leaving them no defense and all of his blame failing on the last family that was trying to put order in the real problems of the country. That family is mad.

“A lot of people wish to hold the past teachings of death and project the death, self-destruction back on the children. For people to fight to keep a system that’s not working for them is madness. The money should work like a god for the people. The people shouldn’t work like dogs for money.”
