Sandra Good To Be Sent To New Jersey

ALDERSON, W. VA, Mar. 28 – Sandra Good, a follower of convicted mass murderer Charles Manson, will be going to New Jersey instead of California upon her release Friday from the Federal Reformatory for Women at Alderson, W. Va.

The U.S. Parole Commission has decided to send Good to the Volunteers of America Halfway House in Camden, N.J., prison spokesman David Helman said. A spokesman for the parole commission later confirmed the decision.

Good has been in prison for almost 10 years for writing threatening letters to presidents of corporations she believed were polluting the environment.

She had said she does not want to be released because many of Manson’s followers are still in prison. Heiman said, however, that counselors have convinced her that release is in her best interest and that she is now interested in finding a job in landscaping or greenhouse work.
