Feb. 10 – On Wednesday, May 23, 2007, a California parole board took an hour and a half to find Charles Manson unsuitable for parole for the 11th time, at a hearing held at Corcoran State Prison in Corcoran, California.
Manson, who refused to attend his 2002 hearing, once again did not attend the hearing.
According to a counselor’s report, “Manson was given the opportunity to review, check appropriate boxes, and sign BPH documents for this BPH hearing. He refused to sign documents which dealt with waiver of rights to attend hearing, waiver of postponement of hearing, Central File review, and consent for attorney to examine records. Subject stated he considers himself a prisoner of the political system, and his appearance before the Board is questionable.”
I have to say that Manson never killed anyone. He’s in jail because he was dealing with an underground element that financed his family operation for a long time. Federal parolees, such as Manson, could never have supported the many people at the ranch. To say that they supported themselves by stealing and dumpster diving could never have supported that many people with food, drugs, transportation costs, etc….it just doesn’t add up if calculated. Even if Manson were able to do such a feat, way too much attention would certainly have come to the ranch with arrests. The police Dept. in Chatsworth has a beat just like any Police Dept. they would have been all over that ranch long before the murders. The officer that was part of the August 16th raid, commented on this very thing. If you say that Manson was under the eye of detectives, then they would have known about the departure from the ranch on the night of the murders. The solving of this crime will be done by looking at the financial undertaking of how the family survived without being arrested much sooner for crimes that easily could have put them away for a long time. How a Federal parolee is undetected in crimes to support the family…it simply doesn’t make sense.
Charlie Manson is in jail because he conspired to kill nine people. Why you choose to ignore an overwhelming amount of evidence that is independently corroborated by several people, so you can believe a vague theory that is supported by nothing, is beyond me.
I believe the point is that Manson is the only person in history to actually spend his remaining life in prison on Conspiracy charges alone. Regardless of the overwhelming evidence to his crimes . It pretty obvious rules were bent or usurped in order to prevent a looping grey wash legal tactic used in previous historic cases utilizing the rough edges of due process towards his own benefit. You have to hand it to the little guy. As crazy as he was or may have seemed to be. He already had an eternity to prepare this type of subvertive legal exposure that ultimately wouldve put a bigger spotlight on a much larger issue that Judges particularly despise. Referndal Judicial Constrait !! Which California is notorious for. His perspective isnt too far off base nor is it inaccurate. Manson will be the first and most likely last person to spend an eternity in prison for offences that are releasable for 80% of convicts for the same offence. Now the motive for keeping him in is another debate all together.

Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden, Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin never killed anyone. Yet millions of people are dead because and purely because of them.
