On 12-2-70 at approximately 12:15 hours suspect Davis in the company of Nancy PITMAN, wanted for failing to appear, Van Nuys Superior Court under File: 070-07179-2046-284, surrendered to the undersigned at Temple and Broadway Streets in Los Angeles. Suspects were taken to the Homicide Bureau in the company of attorney D. Shinn and P. Fitzgerald. Constitutional rights were read to the suspects by Deputy Guenther and both suspects refused to make any statements on the advice of their attorneys.

Suspect Davis was arraigned on 12-3-70 in Department 100 before Judge George Dell who set trial for February 16, 1971, Santa Monica Superior Court. Suspect Pitman was transported to the Van Nuys Superior Court and released from custody after Judge Rosenberg recalled the warrant.
